Materials & Quality
Paper, canvas, borders and frames change how a work meets the room. Materials belong to the selected artwork and configuration.
Our four lines
Art Prints: choose the size, border and frame.
Studio Collection: the studio sets the size, border and presentation. You choose the frame. These works are not numbered.
Limited Editions: a numbered edition with the presentation set by the studio and a choice of frame.
Unique Editions: one physical work, issued once, with the presentation set by the studio and a choice of frame.
Availability is shown on each artwork page. The comparisons below describe paper presentations, not edition lines. Canvas and other configurations have their own specifications.
Compare paper presentations
The framed-paper configuration described here uses a wood frame and a clear front. Hanging Fine Art holds the paper between wood rails. These examples do not define the materials of every work in the collection.
GSM describes paper weight. It does not mean raised texture.
Framed paper presentation
The existing 250 gsm framed-paper configuration uses archival matte paper in a natural, off-white tone, a slim solid wood frame and plexiglass. Other configurations may use different paper or construction. Check the selected artwork.
Choose a framed presentation when you want the paper enclosed behind a clear front.
Explore Framed Fine ArtHanging paper presentation
The artwork sits on 170 gsm uncoated paper, held open between slim wood rails with a 14 × 20 mm profile.
Choose this presentation when you want an open paper surface held between wood rails.
Explore Hanging ArtSurface truth
The relief is part of the image. The print surface is flat.
Paper may have a grain; canvas has a woven texture. Neither means that the depicted relief is physically raised. The selected artwork page identifies the support and any protective front.
