These Terms of Use cover browsing thelightstays.com and using a customer account. Buying is covered by our Terms of Sale. Data handling is covered by our Privacy Policy. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Write to us if you need clarification.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order or open an account. Anyone may browse the site.

Your account

An account is optional. Keep your sign-in access secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or close an account used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

Using the site

Use the site to view artwork, place orders and manage your purchases. Do not bypass security, copy the catalog at scale, use another person's payment details, disrupt the site or use it for an unlawful purpose.

Our content

The artwork, images, text, layout, and The Light Stays name and marks are protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying a piece transfers ownership of the physical artwork, not the copyright. See the Terms of Sale for permitted uses.

Product images and descriptions

We work to show every piece accurately. Screen calibration and room lighting can create small differences between the display and printed artwork. Our prints are flat. Any relief, texture or brushwork visible in an image is part of the print unless the product page states otherwise.

Availability

We may change, suspend or withdraw site content and individual artworks. Nothing here changes an order we have already confirmed.

Links to other sites

External sites, including payment providers, carriers and social platforms, have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content.

Disclaimers and liability

Except where stated otherwise or required by law, the site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to site use is limited to the amount paid for the related order. Some states do not allow certain limits, so those limits may not apply to you. The Terms of Sale cover the artwork itself.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws stated in the complete Terms of Service. Mandatory consumer rights in your state of residence continue to apply.

We may update these terms. The current version and date are published on this page. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
